Let’s dive into a topic of majority interest i.e. SELF CONFIDENCE. We often listen about the benefits of self-confidence and also about how to develop our self-confidence. Benefits in theoretical terms can be success, good relations, good communication skills etc., but in practical terms it varies for every individual. So when it comes to benefits, the simplest answer is experience!!

Here, we are going to mainly focus on how to work on your self-confidence in the simplest and the most practical manner possible.

What is Self Confidence??

Self-confidence is simple terms is an attitude which involves self-acceptance and self-trust on major levels.

In many situations people find themselves being under confident or getting into situations where they see the journey from self-confident to under confident. This position or transition in life is very common and is in fact a chance to again start from ground level and build a better foundation.

Few reasons of getting being under confident can be some bad past experience, a huge gap between your time and work ratio, being lazy and the list goes on!

How to improve Self Confidence?

This question can be designated being the most common questions and the answers very often you might have come across can be accept yourself as you are, learn from bad experiences, exercise, read books, do not care about others and what not!

These all answers are not wrong but are even not complete. For instance let’s consider “accept yourself as you are”, this statement is true but it comes into the game when you start self-validating and self-appreciating yourself and even for “learn from bad experiences”, even this is true but there is no point focusing on past experience, it will eventually just make your mind stuck in past life and distract the focus on present. The learning on the other hands are natural which you sub consciously adopt, once you have been through something unpleasant.

So, now the question arises is what needs to be done actually! Well the answer is start winning your near games. Games in this context are the tasks and to be more specific your daily task.

As our elders usually suggest us to have a routine or a time table, that’s all you need! Simply create your own time table depending on your priorities and find some time out in the same for exercise and meditation, these two tasks are the most important and must to be added tasks in the list, else can vary as per an individual’s priorities.

This technique sounds basic and very common but being it very commonly heard, many often neglect the idea and fail to accomplish it. So the most important factor in this method is consistency.

Now, my friend start working on yourself, plan your near games and start winning those!! Remember, self-confidence is a byproduct. So the more you accomplish the stronger it gets.
